WERNERSVILLE, PA — Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a woman accused of vandalizing a municipal recreation building in South Heidelberg Township.
According to the South Heidelberg Township Police Department, the incident occurred during the afternoon hours of May 22 at Wernersville Park, located near West Fairview and Laurel streets.
Investigators said surveillance video showed a woman at the park accompanied by two juvenile girls who were playing on the property.
According to police, the woman was captured on video allegedly using a black marker to write on the exterior of the recreation building. The writing reportedly included three sets of initials — M.H., S.H., and A.H. — followed by the phrase “was here 5/22/2026.”
Police reported that the vandalism resulted in approximately $300 in damage and repair costs.
Authorities have released surveillance images of the woman and are asking anyone who recognizes her to contact Detective Robert Heiden at 610-670-9885.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
