Who Opened Fire on a Crowd, Leaving One Person Dead?

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia police are seeking the public’s help in identifying four men wanted for questioning in connection with a fatal shooting that left one person dead and four others wounded last month.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department, officers responded at approximately 1:15 a.m. on May 23 to the area of 525 N. 11th Street after receiving reports of a shooting.

Police said five victims had been struck by gunfire. One of the victims later died from injuries sustained in the shooting, while four others survived.

Investigators reported that surveillance video captured four Black male suspects allegedly discharging firearms in the area.

According to the Homicide Unit, the four individuals were seen attending a large gathering inside a nearby apartment building prior to the shooting.

Police have released images of the individuals and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying them.

The City of Philadelphia is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the homicide investigation.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
