Who Left Victims Hospitalized After Brutal Center City Attack?

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia police are asking for the public’s help in identifying three women allegedly involved in a violent assault and robbery that left victims hospitalized with significant injuries earlier this year.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department’s Central Detective Division, the incident occurred at approximately 2:15 a.m. on April 18 in the 1300 block of Chestnut Street.

Investigators allege that a group of three women assaulted multiple complainants in the area. During the incident, police said the victims’ bags were stolen.

According to investigators, the stolen credit cards were later used fraudulently. Police also reported that the victims were hospitalized with significant injuries to their faces and heads.

The Philadelphia Police Department released surveillance images and video clips in an effort to identify the individuals involved.

Police described the suspects as:

  • Suspect No. 1: A Black female believed to be between 25 and 30 years old, approximately 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds, with a medium build.
  • Suspect No. 2: A Black female believed to be between 25 and 30 years old, approximately 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing about 130 pounds, with a medium build and a tattoo on the right side of her chest.
  • Suspect No. 3: A Black female believed to be between 25 and 30 years old, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 175 pounds, with a heavy build.

Police advised the public not to approach the suspects. Anyone with information about the investigation is asked to contact Detective Nestel of the Central Detective Division at 215-686-3093 or 215-686-3094 and reference case number DC 26-09-049127.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
