OXFORD, PA — An Oxford man faces terroristic threats and weapons-related charges after police alleged he threatened another man with a knife during a domestic disturbance.
Oxford police responded at 7:11 a.m. June 24 to the 200 block of South Fourth Street following a report of a domestic dispute.
According to police, officers contacted a male victim who alleged that Devon Scott, 22, of Oxford, had threatened to harm him with a knife. Witnesses at the scene corroborated the victim’s account, police reported.
Scott was taken into custody and transported to the Oxford Police Department for processing before being arraigned in Oxford District Court.
He was charged with possessing instruments of crime, terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another person and harassment.
The police account lists conflicting bail amounts. One portion states Scott was released on $15,000 bail at 10%, while another lists bail as $10,000 at 10%.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 11 in Oxford District Court.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
