EXTON, PA — Philadelphia police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who allegedly fired a gun during an argument inside a gas station early Independence Day morning.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, two men got into a dispute around 5:15 a.m. on July 4 while playing skill games inside the Sunoco station located at 10000 Frankford Ave.
Investigators reported that during the argument, one of the men pulled out a black handgun and fired a shot at the other man, missing him. The suspect then fled the scene in a GMC SUV before officers arrived.
Authorities released surveillance footage capturing the encounter in an effort to identify the suspect. Police warn anyone who spots the man not to approach him, but to call 911 immediately.
