WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington police are investigating an early morning shooting that left a 16-year-old boy wounded Friday.
According to the Wilmington Police Department, the shooting occurred at approximately 12:45 a.m. July 31 in the 1000 block of North Lombard Street.
Police said officers located the teenage gunshot victim, who was transported to a hospital in stable condition. The department did not disclose additional information about the circumstances surrounding the shooting or identify any suspects.
