PHILADELPHIA, PA — A Northampton County man pleaded guilty Monday to 22 federal counts of production of child sexual abuse material and one count of possession of child sexual abuse material, concluding a criminal case that prosecutors said involved the exploitation of a young girl over nearly a decade.

Efrain Baez-Feliciano, 38, of Northampton, entered his guilty plea before U.S. District Judge Jeffrey L. Schmehl, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Federal prosecutors said Baez-Feliciano was indicted in October 2025 following an investigation into allegations that he produced child sexual abuse material depicting a girl in his care on multiple occasions over approximately nine years and possessed additional illicit material.

The guilty plea resolves the charges without a trial and exposes Baez-Feliciano to substantial prison time under federal sentencing laws.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on Thursday, September 24.

According to prosecutors, Baez-Feliciano faces a maximum possible sentence of 680 years in prison, a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years, and a lifetime term of supervised release.

Federal authorities also said he faces mandatory financial penalties and will be required to register as a sex offender under the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act, commonly known as SORNA, and under Megan’s Law.
