MALVERN, PA — ACME Markets and the YMCA of Greater Brandywine will operate nine public flu vaccination clinics across Chester County in September and October, extending access to vaccinations through YMCA facilities and community sites.
The clinics will be staffed by ACME’s pharmacy team and run from Sept. 14 through Oct. 26 at locations spanning Kennett Square, Coatesville, West Chester, Jennersville, Parkesburg, Berwyn, Downingtown and Lionville.
The schedule begins Sept. 14 at the Kennett Area YMCA from 8 a.m. to noon, followed by the Coatesville YMCA on Sept. 21 from 9 a.m. to noon.
The West Chester Area YMCA will host two sessions on Sept. 28, from 9 a.m. to noon and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Jennersville YMCA will host a session on Sept. 29 from 9 a.m. to noon.
October clinics are scheduled for the Octorara YMCA and Program Center on Oct. 5 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Oscar Lasko YMCA and Childcare Center on Oct. 6 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.; and Upper Main Line YMCA on Oct. 13 from 9 a.m. to noon.
The Pickleball Center in Downingtown will host a clinic Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. to noon, followed by the Lionville Community YMCA on Oct. 26 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Residents can review availability and register through ACME Markets’ YMCA vaccination clinic page, which lists participating locations and appointment times.
“Our partnership with the YMCA of Greater Brandywine help us connect with community members where they are and offer important preventive health service close to home,” ACME Director of Pharmacy Operations Janis Levit stated.
The YMCA of Greater Brandywine operates nine YMCAs and program centers serving nearly 112,000 people across Chester County.
