OXFORD, PA — An Oxford woman faces multiple terroristic threats charges after police alleged she displayed a knife and threatened several people during a disturbance at an apartment complex.
Oxford police responded July 7 to the Oxford Village Apartments in the 3000 block of Lauren Lane for a reported disturbance.
According to police, several victims told officers that Christine Berardocco, 31, of Oxford, had produced a knife while threatening to harm them.
Police reported that Berardocco was taken into custody at her residence July 10. She was transported to the Oxford Police Department for processing and later taken by constables to Chester County Prison.
Berardocco was charged with three counts of terroristic threats, possessing instruments of crime, two counts of harassment, disorderly conduct and related offenses.
Following her arraignment, Berardocco was held on $10,000 cash bail, according to police. Her bail was reduced July 28 to $10,000 unsecured, and she was released.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 4 in Oxford District Court.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
