PHILADELPHIA, PA — An 18-year-old Philadelphia man has been charged in connection with a reported armed robbery and sexual assault after police said multiple suspects forced their way into a building early Saturday morning.
Police reported that the incident occurred at approximately 4:40 a.m. on April 25 on the 400 block of North 9th Street, where several males allegedly entered a building and robbed and sexually assaulted victims at gunpoint.
According to investigators, the suspects fled to the roof when officers arrived on scene.
Police said one suspect, identified as Saidakhmad Bakiev, 18, of the 2700 block of Northview Road, was apprehended on the roof.
Authorities reported that Bakiev has been charged with criminal conspiracy, aggravated assault, rape, burglary, robbery, false imprisonment, sexual assault, indecent assault, and related offenses.

The remaining suspects were described by police as white males in their late teens to early 20s with dark hair, possibly of Russian or Central Asian descent.
Police stated that the investigation remains ongoing and additional suspects have not yet been apprehended.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
