HORSHAM, PA — A Montgomery County man is facing hundreds of charges after investigators alleged they uncovered a large collection of child sexual abuse material during a months-long investigation that began with a cyber tip.
According to the Horsham Township Police Department, the investigation began in April 2026 after detectives received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children indicating that a Dropbox account had allegedly uploaded files containing suspected child sexual abuse material.
Police reported that detectives obtained search warrants to identify the account holder and examine digital evidence associated with the account. Investigators ultimately identified Anthony Caprisecca, 36, as the suspect.
According to police, detectives executed a search warrant at Caprisecca’s residence on April 24 and seized electronic devices. A subsequent forensic examination allegedly uncovered more than 300 videos and approximately 50 images depicting suspected child sexual abuse material.
Caprisecca was arrested April 24 and initially charged following the investigation, police reported.
During a preliminary hearing on July 23 before Magisterial District Judge Todd Stephens, prosecutors amended the criminal complaint to include a total of 470 charges related to the quantity of alleged child sexual abuse material recovered during the investigation, according to police.
All charges were held for court following the preliminary hearing. Caprisecca is scheduled for formal arraignment Aug. 26 in Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. Court records indicate bail was set at $250,000.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
