Fugitive Taken into Custody in Parkesburg

PARKESBURG, PA — A man wanted on multiple felony charges out of Delaware was taken into custody by Parkesburg Police on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

Police officers apprehended 46-year-old Demetrius D. Dickinson in the 100 block of South Limestone Road after developing information regarding his location. Dickinson, who had been classified as a fugitive from justice, was wanted by authorities in Middletown, Delaware.

According to officials, Dickinson was arrested without incident, and his vehicle was secured by officers on the scene. Following the arrest, Parkesburg police executed a search warrant on the vehicle, which reportedly yielded additional evidence connected to the Middletown Police Department’s ongoing investigation.

Dickinson was transported to Chester County Prison, where he is currently awaiting extradition to Delaware to face the charges filed against him.
