Fugitive in Drug Case Found After Months on the Run

WILMINGTON, DE — A man accused in a 2025 narcotics distribution investigation has been apprehended in Pennsylvania after authorities spent months searching for him, according to Delaware State Police.

Delaware State Police announced that 44-year-old Darvin Connor was arrested June 1 by the United States Marshals Service Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

According to investigators, Connor was one of four suspects identified during a narcotics investigation that culminated in the execution of search warrants at two Wilmington residences on Nov. 8, 2025.

Police said members of the Delaware State Police Troop 2 Drug Unit and Special Operations Response Team carried out the searches following an investigation into the alleged distribution of illegal narcotics from the homes.

According to authorities, three suspects — Tayvon Brown, Alexander Wade, and Rhasheed Gilliam — were taken into custody during the execution of the warrants. Connor was not located and remained at large until his recent arrest.

State police said Connor will be charged upon his return to Delaware with possession of a controlled substance, Tier 3 quantity; possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, Tier 3 quantity; unlawful operation or attempted operation of a clandestine laboratory; possession of ammunition by a person prohibited; three counts of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance; endangering the welfare of a child; second-degree conspiracy; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Authorities said Connor remains in custody pending his transfer to Delaware.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
