WILMINGTON, DE — A 22-year-old man was killed, and two other men were wounded in a shooting Tuesday night in Wilmington, according to police.
Wilmington police said officers responded at approximately 10:50 p.m. to the area of West Seventh and North Washington streets for a reported shooting.
Police located a 22-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital in critical condition and later died from his injuries, according to police.
Authorities identified the man as Jaonte Holland, 22.
Police also located a 37-year-old man and a 41-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported to a hospital in stable condition, according to police.
Wilmington police are investigating the shooting and said additional details will be released when available.
