33-Year-Old Wilmington Man Arrested After Alleged Drug Bust

WILMINGTON, DE — A Wilmington man has been taken into custody following allegations of drug-related activity observed by police.

According to the Wilmington Police Department, officers from the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were patrolling the 300 block of West 7th Street on February 11, 2025, around 11:16 a.m., when they identified a man allegedly involved in drug activity. Authorities detained 33-year-old Terrance Waters without incident and subsequently conducted a search. Police report that Waters was found with 5.92 grams of crack cocaine and 14.76 grams of marijuana in his possession.

Waters now faces multiple charges, including two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver and one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Following his arraignment in Justice of the Peace Court 20, Waters was remanded to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution under a $21,000 cash-only bail.

Authorities have emphasized that the charges remain allegations, and Waters is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
