UPPER DARBY, PA — Drivers should prepare for a weekend-long closure of Lansdowne Avenue as SEPTA crews complete rail crossing improvements in Upper Darby Township.

Eastbound drivers will be directed to use State Road, Route 3 (West Chester Pike), Bywood Avenue, Fairfield Avenue and Garrett Road.
Westbound drivers will be directed to use Garrett Road, Route 3 (West Chester Pike) and State Road.
Local access will be maintained at all times. Drivers should plan extra time because backups and delays are expected near the work zone and along the detour routes. Seek alternate routes when practical and remain alert for changing traffic patterns.
