MIDDLETOWN TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that trail construction will continue this month along Ellis Road in Middletown Township, Bucks County, as part of a local safety improvement project aimed at enhancing pedestrian and cyclist access.
From Monday, November 3, through Friday, November 28, crews will conduct weekday lane closures with flagging between Fulling Mill Road and Woodbourne Road from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The restrictions will allow for stone installation and structure placement. Drivers should anticipate delays and plan extra travel time. All work is weather dependent.
The project supports broader local efforts to improve transportation safety and connectivity in the community, providing safer routes for non-motorized travel while maintaining traffic flow along a heavily used commuter corridor.
