CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — TJP has acquired FX2 Virtual, expanding the Renovus Capital Partners-backed agency beyond market-access strategy and digital services into virtual pharmaceutical sales, reimbursement support and commercial analytics.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
FX2 Virtual will operate as a standalone brand under TJP while integrating its commercial infrastructure and analytics capabilities into the company’s broader life sciences offering.
The combination gives TJP the ability to provide virtual sales organizations and virtual key account managers alongside patient-access strategy, patient-journey design, field enablement, customer relationship management optimization, data analysis and incentive compensation services.
The acquisition reflects growing demand among pharmaceutical companies for outside partners capable of linking market-access planning with field-level commercial execution, particularly as drugmakers use virtual sales teams to supplement or replace portions of traditional in-person operations.
TJP Chief Executive Officer Rino Mariconda said the transaction allows the company to move from developing access and commercialization strategies to executing them directly.
“By adding a dedicated virtual sales force, virtual key account management team and data analytics, we can now directly drive the execution of that strategy,” Mariconda said.
FX2 Virtual is led by pharmaceutical industry veterans Ed Kessig, Jeff Cino and Sal Paolozza. Its services include virtual sales staffing, reimbursement support, omnichannel analytics and the development and management of virtual field teams.
Kessig said combining FX2 Virtual’s commercial operations with TJP’s market-access expertise would allow the businesses to address both strategic planning and product adoption.
The FX2 Virtual team will work with TJP’s strategic, creative and digital personnel while retaining its separate brand identity.
Fairmount Partners served as exclusive financial adviser to FX2 Virtual.
