PHILADELPHIA, PA — Termini Bros. Bakery will mark National Ice Cream Month with a one-day promotion at its Comcast Center location on July 28, pairing its signature pound cake with Bassett’s Ice Cream as the bakery continues a broader effort to lower prices on several menu items.

The event will run from noon to 2 p.m. at The Concourse at Comcast Center, 1701 John F. Kennedy Blvd.

During the promotion, customers can purchase single scoops of Bassett’s Ice Cream for $2, slices of Termini Bros.’ pound cake for $2, or a pound cake slice topped with two scoops of Bassett’s Ice Cream for $5.

The Comcast Center shop is the only Termini Bros. location that serves Bassett’s Ice Cream.

The event also highlights a pricing initiative the bakery introduced in April in response to rising consumer costs.

Under that program, slices of the bakery’s signature pound cake were permanently reduced to $2 from their previous price. The Comcast Center location also lowered the price of whole birthday cakes from $40 to $30, Coffee Cake Rings from $25 to $15, and cupcakes from $5 to $3.
