PHILADELPHIA, PA — Tendo said its Tendo Marketplace has surpassed one million healthcare vouchers purchased nationwide, marking a milestone for its platform that allows consumers and employers to shop for medical procedures with upfront pricing.
The company said the marketplace enables users to search for procedures, compare provider quality, and purchase bundled care services at fixed prices, aiming to reduce unexpected medical costs and administrative barriers.
Healthcare providers can list bundled procedures, set pricing, and manage claims and payments through the platform, which Tendo said reduces reliance on processes such as pre-authorizations and claim adjudication.
“One million vouchers purchased tells us something fundamental is changing,” said CEO and co-founder Jennifer Goldsmith. “Employers are taking ownership of how their dollars are spent” and consumers are making care decisions based on cost and quality.
The company said patients using the platform have reported lower costs and improved access to care, including savings on diagnostic services and access to treatment without insurance.
Tendo said demand for price transparency and employer-driven healthcare solutions continues to grow as more organizations seek predictable healthcare spending.
The company was also named to TIME’s 2025 list of top health technology companies, according to the announcement.
