STRATA Names Erica Jordan CEO to Scale Commercial Operations

STRATA Skin Sciences

HORSHAM, PA — STRATA Skin Sciences Inc. appointed Erica Jordan chief executive officer, effective July 12, as the dermatology-device company seeks to convert expanded reimbursement coverage into broader commercial adoption.

Jordan succeeds Dolev Rafaeli, who served as chief executive for an extended period and helped establish the company’s current operating foundation, STRATA stated.

The company said Jordan will focus on expanding its sales organization, increasing access among dermatology practices and building on reimbursement coverage for its excimer laser therapies.

“My focus will be on scaling the commercial organization so that more practices — and ultimately more patients who are candidates for these therapies — have access to them,” Jordan stated.

STRATA Chairperson Uri Geiger cited Jordan’s experience expanding sales operations and said the company expects her to help translate broader Current Procedural Terminology code coverage into commercial growth.

Jordan previously served as chief commercial officer of Revance Therapeutics, where she oversaw sales, marketing, operations, corporate communications, investor relations, strategy and business-improvement functions in domestic and international markets.

She earlier served as president of Metrex at Envista Holdings and held sales and marketing leadership roles at Change Healthcare, Philips Healthcare, Fujifilm Medical, Siemens Medical Solutions and GE Healthcare.

Jordan holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

STRATA develops and markets excimer laser therapies used to treat dermatologic conditions. The company said its commercial model is designed to reduce the upfront capital required for dermatology practices adopting its technology.
