BLUE BELL, PA — Slipstream Life Sciences has acquired project management consultancy Echolocity, expanding its project management office capabilities as organizations face increasingly complex technology implementations, regulatory requirements and operational change.
The acquisition adds Echolocity’s work management and project management consulting expertise to Slipstream’s technology consulting business, the company announced.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Echolocity has spent more than seven years advising organizations on work management, project governance and strategic execution. Its team will continue serving existing clients under the Echolocity brand while also operating as Slipstream’s PMO and Work Management practice.
The combined business is expected to provide clients with integrated technology consulting and project governance services, particularly within the life sciences sector.
Chief Executive Officer Brandon McKay characterized the acquisition as strengthening Slipstream’s ability to deliver project management services alongside its existing technology expertise.
“We have been looking for the right partner to enhance this practice, and we found it in Molly and her team,” McKay stated.
Echolocity founder and Chief Executive Officer Molly Yanus indicated the companies had collaborated on client engagements before completing the transaction.
“Over the past year, our teams worked alongside each other, serving clients and solving challenges together,” Yanus stated. “What became clear was that our capabilities were complementary, and our values were aligned.”
Yanus added that joining Slipstream would allow the combined organization to expand the services available to clients.
The acquisition also extends Echolocity’s reach through Slipstream’s global network while expanding Slipstream’s end-to-end project governance capabilities for technology programs and organizational transformation initiatives.
