KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Recovery Centers of America is expanding its virtual intensive outpatient addiction treatment program into states where it does not operate physical facilities, beginning with Idaho and extending its reach beyond its traditional clinic markets.
The King of Prussia-based treatment provider plans to add Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming next, with additional states expected to follow, the company announced.
The move allows adults in those states to access RCA’s intensive outpatient program entirely online, including group therapy, individual counseling and skills-based workshops.
“Addiction doesn’t pause for geography, and neither should treatment,” Chief Executive Officer Brett Cohen said. “This expansion is about reaching people where they are and meeting the needs of those who can’t access in-person treatment.”
The program is delivered through HIPAA-compliant encrypted platforms and uses clinical approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, trauma-informed care and dual diagnosis treatment for patients with co-occurring mental health conditions.
RCA said the virtual program is designed for adults who need structured care after residential or detox treatment, as well as people seeking help for substance use before symptoms escalate.
The company also targets patients who face scheduling barriers, lack access to nearby in-person treatment or prefer home-based care. Family services, including education sessions and guided conversations, are included in the program.
RCA accepts more than 80 major insurance plans and offers self-pay options with interest-free payment plans. Admissions staff are available around the clock, and the company offers confidential insurance verification at no cost.
