PHILADELPHIA, PA — PrimoHoagies brought back its seasonal PrimoPilgrim sandwich today and is pairing the return with a five-day catering discount as the Philadelphia-founded chain targets football gatherings and early demand for Thanksgiving flavors.
The PrimoPilgrim will remain available through Nov. 29. The sandwich combines roasted turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and mayonnaise on the company’s seeded bread.
PrimoHoagies is also offering PrimoPerks members 10% off catering trays from Sept. 9 through Sept. 13 at participating locations nationwide.
Customers must order through the PrimoHoagies app or online and use the promotional code KICKOFF. The discount cannot be combined with other offers and does not apply to third-party delivery services.
The two limited-time offerings position PrimoHoagies around both football-season catering and the fall holiday period, extending the chain’s seasonal sales push from September through Thanksgiving weekend.
“There are a lot of ways to get a taste of fall, but nothing delivers quite like the PrimoPilgrim,” Vice President of Marketing Madalyn Weintraub said. She described the sandwich as a recurring seasonal offering intended for both returning and first-time customers.
PrimoHoagies was founded in South Philadelphia more than 30 years ago. Its menu centers on made-to-order hoagies using sliced meats and cheeses and seeded bread.
The company’s PrimoPerks program awards one point for each $1 spent on hoagies, catering trays and sides, with a free Primo Size Hoagie after 250 points. New members receive a $10 Primo Size Hoagie reward that can be applied to purchases of as many as five Primo Size Hoagies in a single transaction at enrollment.
