Philadelphia Police Seek Suspects in Twin Robberies of Kaylee Mini-Market

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department’s Northwest Detective Division is seeking to identify two individuals believed to be responsible for a pair of robberies at the Kaylee Mini-Market on Spencer Avenue.

According to police reports, the same two men allegedly robbed the store on February 15 and February 24, 2024. In both instances, the suspects reportedly entered the store around 8:30 pm. One suspect, referred to as offender #1, is alleged to have gone behind the register and robbed an employee at gunpoint. The second suspect, offender #2, is accused of holding other employees and customers at gunpoint until the robbery was completed.

On the second occasion, the suspects were reportedly seen leaving the scene in a dark-colored sedan with tinted windows. Notably, the vehicle had a non-functioning driver’s side taillight and brake light. The car was tracked via several surveillance and city cameras and was last spotted in the vicinity of 11th and Olney Ave.

The first suspect is described as a man in his early 20s, approximately 5’10”, wearing a dark navy blue New Balance hoodie, black pants, and boots. The second suspect is also described as a man in his early 20s, about 5’10”, dressed in a black hoodie, pants, and boots.

The public is asked not to approach these individuals if spotted, but to contact 911 immediately. All tips will be kept confidential.
