Phenom, ServiceNow Link AI Hiring Tools to Enterprise Workflows

Phenom

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Phenom and ServiceNow are integrating their artificial intelligence platforms to bring recruiting and hiring workflows directly into the ServiceNow ecosystem, a move aimed at helping large employers automate talent acquisition while maintaining governance and compliance controls.

The collaboration connects Phenom’s recruiting-focused AI agents with the ServiceNow AI Platform, allowing hiring managers to perform tasks ranging from job requisition creation and candidate sourcing to screening and interview selection within a unified system.

The companies said the integration addresses a challenge facing enterprises as they expand AI use across business functions but continue to manage hiring through separate technology stacks.

Under the arrangement, Phenom’s AI agents will operate within ServiceNow’s platform, including ServiceNow Otto, enabling hiring managers to conduct intake meetings, generate job descriptions, identify candidates and advance prospects through the hiring process. Compliance reviews, approvals and stakeholder notifications will remain within ServiceNow workflows.

“Our customers want AI in one place,” said John Phillips, group vice president of employee experience at ServiceNow. “This is a single conversational interface serving as the front door to productivity where all work becomes AI-assisted, whether it’s an IT request or an HR process like hiring.”

The integration is built on emerging interoperability standards known as A2A and MCP, which allow AI systems to share information and coordinate tasks across platforms. The companies said the standards-based approach reduces reliance on custom integrations while embedding governance and compliance controls throughout hiring workflows.

“The companies that dominate hiring won’t be the ones with the most AI,” said Saumil Gandhi, senior vice president of corporate development at Phenom. “They’ll be the ones whose AI understands the realities of their business and operates inside the workflow that runs everything else.”

The partnership expands ServiceNow’s employee experience platform into recruiting while giving Phenom access to organizations already using ServiceNow for human resources, information technology and operational workflows.

Phenom said the integration will be available to joint customers through the ServiceNow Store beginning this summer, with additional capabilities planned for release in the coming months.
