Phenom Expands AI Agent Push Across Fall HR Events

Phenom

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Phenom is expanding its push to move AI agents into enterprise human resources operations with live demonstrations at a series of technology and HR conferences this fall, seeking to distinguish its products as companies face uncertainty over which agentic AI offerings can function in production.

The company plans to let HR, IT and executive leaders test agents against hiring, employee development and retention scenarios through a new Agent Experience Center rather than relying on conventional product demonstrations.

The strategy comes as the proliferation of products marketed as AI agents complicates purchasing decisions. Gartner estimates that only about 130 of the thousands of vendors promoting agentic AI have substantive agentic capabilities, according to research cited by Phenom, with other offerings falling into what Gartner calls “agent washing.”

“Anyone can put ‘AI agent’ on a slide,” said Kumar Ananthanarayana, Phenom’s vice president and general manager of product management. “This fall, we’re putting them in attendees’ hands instead.”

Phenom will also demonstrate more than 75 AI and automation use cases through its AI & Automation Lab. Attendees can bring their own use cases for the company to map against factors including industry, function, role, geography and workflow.

Companies seeking to evaluate the technology using their own data and workflows can arrange on-site AI Bootcamps with Phenom.

The conference campaign begins Sept. 10 at the ServiceNow World Forum in New York, followed by The Mission For Talent in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 14 and Phenom’s fifth annual AI Day broadcast from Phenom Studios on Sept. 17.

The company will also participate in the NASCIO Annual Conference in San Diego from Sept. 27-30 and the Gartner HR Symposium EMEA in London from Oct. 6-8.

Phenom will demonstrate its technology at HR Tech in Las Vegas and Unleash World in Paris, both scheduled for Oct. 20-22. Those appearances will be followed by Oracle World 2026 in Las Vegas from Oct. 25-28 and the Gartner US Symposium in Orlando from Oct. 26-28.

The Mission For Talent event will focus on public-sector applications, including AI-assisted hiring and skills-based workforce strategies. Phenom said the event will include speakers from Deloitte and the Department of Labor and demonstrations involving its FedRAMP Ready AI technology.

AI Day will focus on the architecture, orchestration and governance involved in moving HR-focused AI systems from pilot projects into production.

Phenom will continue the campaign through its own IAMPHENOM conferences, with events scheduled for Nov. 4-5 in Paris and Dec. 17 in Hyderabad, India. Its Philadelphia conference is scheduled for April 20-22, 2027.
