Overnight Closure Planned for Bridge Street in Northeast Philly

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that overhead bridge construction will close a section of Bridge Street in Northeast Philadelphia early Tuesday, October 14, as part of the ongoing I-95/BS2 reconstruction project.

From 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM, Bridge Street will be closed between Aramingo Avenue and Tacony Street. Westbound motorists will detour via Tacony Street and Aramingo Avenue, while eastbound drivers will follow a posted route using Aramingo Avenue, Orthodox Street, Pearce Street, Lefevere Street, and Tacony Street.

PennDOT advises motorists to expect delays and allow extra time when traveling through the area. All work is weather dependent.
