LANGHORNE, PA — NEXGEL Inc. (Nasdaq: NXGL) will hold an investor update Sept. 24 to discuss operational progress, commercialization initiatives and other corporate matters, moving the call from the mid-September timeframe previously targeted by the medical technology company.
The call is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. Eastern Time. NEXGEL said details for accessing it will be released separately.
NEXGEL had indicated in its Aug. 17 earnings release that it expected to conduct the investor update on or around Sept. 15.
The Langhorne-based company operates Bionx Surgical, which markets medical products including Biovance and Biovance 3L human amniotic membrane allografts, Interfyl human connective tissue matrix and SilverSeal antimicrobial hydrogel wound dressings.
Bionx also markets a portfolio of placental-derived ocular allografts under the Lucent, Radiant and Vivid names.
NEXGEL’s broader business includes healthcare, beauty and over-the-counter products using high-water-content hydrogels. The company has developed and manufactured electron-beam, cross-linked hydrogels for more than two decades and maintains contract manufacturing relationships with consumer healthcare companies.
Its consumer brands include Hexagels, Turfguard, Kenkoderm and Silly George.
