NEW HOPE, PA — Drivers traveling along the Delaware River corridor in Bucks County should prepare for daytime detours and possible delays next month as PECO utility improvement work closes a section of Route 32 (River Road).

PennDOT said Route 32 (River Road) will close between Route 232 (Windy Bush Road) and Aquetong Road in Solebury Township and New Hope Borough on Thursday, June 11, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
During the closure, drivers will be detoured using Route 232 (Windy Bush Road) and Aquetong Road to bypass the work zone.
Motorists traveling through the New Hope area should expect backups and slower travel along nearby roads while the utility work is underway. Plan extra time and seek alternate routes where possible, especially during midday travel hours.
