EAST NORRITON TWP, PA — Heavy lifts will carry a bigger purpose this October as athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and community supporters gather at Powerhouse Gym for a day built around strength and giving back.
Powered By Transformation will hold its third annual Monster Mayhem on Oct. 24, bringing powerlifting competition together with vendors, raffles, and opportunities for the community to support the nonprofit’s fitness and wellness programs.
While competition is at the center of the event, organizers are positioning Monster Mayhem as more than a traditional powerlifting meet. Athletes will share the day with local businesses, volunteers, vendors, and spectators, creating an event focused as much on connection as the weight on the bar.
“Monster Mayhem started as a fundraiser, but it has grown into something much bigger,” Powered By Transformation founder and Executive Director Dr. Lori Davidson said. “Strength isn’t just about how much weight you can lift. It’s about what happens when people come together, support one another, and recognize the strength that already exists within their community.”
Competitors can register for three lifts for $65 or two lifts for $55. The regular registration deadline is Oct. 1, with late registration accepted through Oct. 16 for an additional $10 fee. Registration fees are nonrefundable for cancellations for any reason.
Spectators are asked to make a $5 donation. Competitor payments can be made through Venmo or PayPal.

Powered By Transformation is also seeking athletes, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and other community supporters interested in participating in this year’s event.
Competitors should register by Oct. 1 using the event registration form. Late entries will be accepted through Oct. 16 with an additional fee.
Money raised through Monster Mayhem will support Powered By Transformation, a nonprofit that uses fitness, wellness, and community-based programming to help people build stronger and healthier lives. Its programs connect physical fitness with personal growth, wellness and community support.
For Monster Mayhem, that mission will move from the nonprofit’s programs to the powerlifting platform — where every rep offers athletes a challenge and the wider community another way to rally behind its neighbors.
