Mineralys Sets Investor Update as Lorundrostat Advances

RADNOR, PA — Mineralys Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq: MLYS) will present to investors Sept. 9 at the Wells Fargo 21st Annual Healthcare Conference in Boston as the clinical-stage biotechnology company advances lorundrostat, its lead drug candidate targeting hypertension and diseases associated with dysregulated aldosterone.

Management is scheduled for a fireside chat at 4:30 p.m. EDT during the conference, which runs Sept. 8-10, Mineralys reported.

The presentation comes as the Radnor-based company develops lorundrostat, an investigational oral drug designed to selectively inhibit aldosterone synthase. Mineralys is studying the compound for hypertension and related conditions including chronic kidney disease and obstructive sleep apnea.

Aldosterone is a hormone involved in regulating blood pressure and fluid balance, and excessive production can contribute to hypertension and related cardiovascular and kidney complications.

Mineralys has positioned lorundrostat as its initial product candidate in an effort to target diseases associated with dysregulated aldosterone. The drug remains investigational.
