PHILADELPHIA, PA — Mind Escape Philly plans to open a third themed escape room in mid-June 2026 as the Philadelphia entertainment venue expands its footprint with a puzzle experience designed to improve accessibility for players with mobility limitations.

The new attraction, titled “The Little Greenhouse of Horror,” is being developed at the company’s location at 521 South 4th Street in Philadelphia and draws inspiration from the musical Little Shop of Horrors.

Mind Escape Philly said the room is being designed with fully operable movement and puzzle completion for players with disabilities as a central feature, reflecting a broader push within the location-based entertainment industry to improve accessibility in immersive attractions.

The project was designed by Nat Mellen, who has worked with the company since 2021.

The room’s concept combines plant-themed visual elements with horror motifs, according to company materials. The business said puzzle mechanics are intended to allow participation across a wider range of player abilities.

Escape room operators have increasingly invested in differentiated themed experiences as the sector competes for consumer spending within the broader experiential entertainment market, particularly in urban tourism and nightlife districts.

Mind Escape Philly currently operates two other rooms at its Philadelphia location and said it is seeking beta testers ahead of the public opening.
