Medicus Pharma Regains Nasdaq Minimum Share Price Compliance

Medicus Pharma

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Medicus Pharma Ltd. (Nasdaq: MDCX) has regained compliance with Nasdaq’s minimum share price requirement, resolving a listing deficiency that threatened its continued eligibility to trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market.

The biotechnology company received written confirmation from Nasdaq’s Listing Qualifications Department on October 23, 2026, after its common shares maintained a closing bid price of at least $1 for 10 consecutive business days.

The qualifying period ran from October 12 through October 23, satisfying the minimum bid price requirement under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2).

The determination resolves the company’s deficiency under that specific listing standard, which requires companies traded on the Nasdaq Capital Market to maintain a minimum bid price of $1 per share.

Regaining compliance removes the immediate listing concern associated with the share price threshold, although Medicus remains subject to Nasdaq’s other continued listing requirements.

The company cautioned that maintaining compliance in the future is not guaranteed, including with respect to the minimum bid price standard.

Medicus, which develops investigational therapeutics, provided additional information about the compliance determination in a Current Report on Form 8-K filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Nasdaq determination allows Medicus to continue trading under its existing listing status, subject to ongoing compliance with the exchange’s requirements.
