LANCASTER, PA — The Lancaster Stormers are slicing into the final stretch of summer with a familiar alter ego, transforming into the Lebanon Bolognas for two nights of baseball, Pennsylvania Dutch food and Lancaster County traditions at Penn Medicine Park.
The Lebanon Bolognas will take the field Sept. 4 and 5 as part of a two-night Dutch Fest, expanding the popular specialty identity into a weekend promotion presented by Seltzer’s Smokehouse Meats.
Fans can expect more than baseball. The Stormers are planning Pennsylvania Dutch trivia, regional food favorites and ballpark activities celebrating Lancaster County culture.
Friday’s festivities will include hands-on activities from Landis Valley Farm, including rope making and broom making. A Seltzer’s meat giveaway is also planned for the night.
The Pennsylvania Dutch theme extends to the concession stands, where fans will be able to purchase chicken corn soup, chicken pot pie, apple dumplings and whoopie pies.
Fans looking to take a little Bologna home can also purchase special Lebanon Bologna merchandise tied to the Stormers’ alternate identity.
The festivities arrive as Lancaster heads into its Labor Day weekend and end-of-season celebrations, and the team is sweetening the deal with a buy-one-get-one ticket promotion for the weekend.

The Stormers will play their final regular-season home game Sept. 10 before heading to Hagerstown, where they are scheduled to finish the season Sept. 13.
For fans who like their baseball served with a side of Lancaster County flavor, Sept. 4 and 5 will offer two chances to see the Stormers trade their usual name for one of the more distinctly Pennsylvania identities in the game.
