LANCASTER, PA — The Lancaster Stormers will auction game-worn jerseys designed by a local 10-year-old to benefit Aaron’s Acres during Kids Takeover Night on Saturday at Penn Medicine Park.
The team will wear the custom jerseys during its Aug. 8 game, with all auction proceeds going to the nonprofit. Bidding is open through 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9.
The event gives young fans expanded roles throughout the ballpark, including opportunities to serve as co-emcee and co-public-address announcer, participate in on-field games and take part in raffles and other activities.
The promotion will also include half-price ICEE drinks for children, Chester County Night presented by E&E General Contracting, and the team’s annual Teddy Bear Toss.
Gates open at 5:15 p.m., with first pitch scheduled for 6:45 p.m. Postgame fireworks will follow.
