WARMINSTER, PA — Havis is expanding its keyboard business across rugged, industrial and medical applications through a strategic partnership with TG3 Electronics, broadening the hardware supplier’s reach across public-sector and enterprise markets.
The company has designated TG3 as its strategic keyboard partner across three product categories: Rugged, Light Industrial and Medical. The expanded lineup adds rugged models alongside new keyboards aimed at commercial, industrial and healthcare environments.
Havis identified TG3’s performance in demanding operating environments, custom-engineering capabilities and ability to shorten product-development timelines as factors behind the partnership.
The expanded portfolio positions Havis to offer keyboard hardware alongside its existing mounting, docking and workstation products across public safety, defense, healthcare, retail, hospitality, warehousing, transportation, energy and utility applications.
“Expanding our keyboard portfolio with TG3 was a natural choice,” Havis Product Manager Josh Parah stated. He added that the arrangement would give customers access to a broader range of keyboard products across the three categories.
Havis described its Rugged keyboards as intended for mission-critical and extreme-use environments, while its Light Industrial products target commercial and industrial applications where durability and cost are considerations.
The Medical line consists of sealed, cleanable keyboards intended for healthcare environments, where equipment can face more stringent sanitation requirements.
TG3 will contribute its engineering capabilities while Havis provides distribution and integration with its broader workstation product ecosystem.
