PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA — Harmony Biosciences Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: HRMY) reported preliminary second-quarter WAKIX net product revenue of approximately $261 million, a record for the company, reaffirming its full-year revenue outlook even as its chief financial officer stepped down.
The company maintained its 2026 net product revenue guidance of $1.0 billion to $1.04 billion, citing first-half performance and current business trends.
Preliminary second-quarter WAKIX (pitolisant) revenue increased 30% from a year earlier and 21% from the first quarter, reflecting continued growth for the company’s flagship treatment for excessive daytime sleepiness in patients with narcolepsy.
Harmony reiterated that it will release full second-quarter financial results and provide a business update on Aug. 4.
Separately, Chief Financial Officer Glenn Reicin resigned effective July 16 to pursue other opportunities.
The company appointed Senior Vice President and Controller Stephen Mollichella as interim principal financial officer while it searches for a permanent CFO.
Harmony indicated that Reicin’s departure was not related to any disagreement regarding the company’s operations, policies or practices and said it does not expect the leadership transition to affect financial performance.
“Our record quarterly results reflect the continued strength of the WAKIX franchise and sustained momentum across the business,” President and Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey M. Dayno stated. “Based on our performance through the first half of the year, we remain confident in our ability to achieve full-year net revenue of $1.0 billion to $1.04 billion.”
Mollichella joined Harmony in 2021 and has overseen the company’s financial accounting, reporting, financial systems and internal controls while also supporting business development activities.
