Guiderail Repairs on I-95, I-295, and U.S. 1 to Cause Delays in Philadelphia and Bucks Counties

PHILADELPHIA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced scheduled guiderail repairs on Interstate 95, I-295, and U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway/Roosevelt Boulevard) in Philadelphia and Bucks counties.

Motorists should expect periodic weekday lane closures from Wednesday, May 29, through Wednesday, June 12, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The affected locations are:

  • I-95 between the I-76 West/Valley Forge and Academy Road interchanges in Philadelphia.
  • I-95 between the Academy Road and Route 413 interchanges in Bensalem and Bristol townships.
  • I-295 between the I-95 and New Hope interchanges in Bristol, Middletown, and Lower Makefield townships.
  • U.S. 1 between the I-76 and Woodhaven Road (Route 63) interchanges in Philadelphia.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these areas as backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
