ARDMORE, PA — Gregory Executive Vice President Britni Ackrivo has been named to GlobeSt. CRE’s Aspiring Leaders of 2026 list, a national recognition program highlighting commercial real estate professionals under 40 who are viewed as emerging leaders in the industry.
The recognition reflects the growing importance of stakeholder engagement, public affairs and communications strategy in commercial real estate development, where projects often face regulatory reviews, public scrutiny and community opposition.
Ackrivo, who leads Gregory’s real estate practice, advises developers, property owners and investors on communications strategies related to development projects and community engagement efforts.
The GlobeSt. CRE honor follows Ackrivo’s selection last month to Inman’s Future Leaders of Real Estate 2026 list in the marketing and sales category, another national program recognizing younger professionals across the real estate sector.
Ackrivo has spent more than a decade working with development firms navigating public approval processes, community outreach campaigns and reputation management efforts tied to major real estate projects.
She joined Gregory as an intern in 2014 and later became the youngest executive vice president in the firm’s history.
Gregory Chief Executive Officer Greg Matusky said Ackrivo has built a practice focused on helping clients manage complex public-facing issues surrounding development projects.
“She brings structure to complex situations to move clients’ visions forward, especially when the path is blurred by perception,” Matusky said.
In addition to advising real estate clients, Ackrivo hosts the podcast PlotLines, which focuses on issues affecting the real estate industry.
The recognition comes as communications and public affairs functions play an increasingly prominent role in commercial real estate development, particularly as developers navigate entitlement processes, community relations challenges and heightened public scrutiny of major projects.
Gregory said its real estate practice has been recognized by the Mid Atlantic Real Estate Journal for six consecutive years and ranks among the largest real estate-focused public relations firms in the United States, according to O’Dwyer’s industry rankings.
