PHILADELPHIA, PA — GLOBO Language Solutions was named one of Modern Healthcare’s 2026 Best Places to Work in Healthcare as demand grows for language-access services and AI-enabled communication tools across hospitals and healthcare systems facing increasing pressure to improve patient equity and regulatory compliance.
The Philadelphia-based company, which provides interpretation, translation, and language-access technology services to healthcare organizations, received the recognition for a second consecutive year through a program administered by Modern Healthcare and Workforce Research Group.
Healthcare providers have increasingly expanded spending on language-access infrastructure as hospitals confront rising operational demands tied to limited-English-proficiency populations, patient experience metrics, and federal nondiscrimination requirements. At the same time, healthcare organizations are evaluating how AI-driven translation and communication platforms can reduce costs while maintaining clinical accuracy.
GLOBO Chief Executive Officer Dipak Patel pointed to the company’s focus on combining human interpreters with AI-enabled technology as healthcare systems seek scalable communication tools.
“Language access is not an add-on,” Patel stated. “It is critical to achieving trust, safety, equity, and the overall patient experience.”
Patel added that GLOBO is continuing to expand technology offerings designed to support healthcare providers serving limited-English-proficiency, Deaf, and hard-of-hearing patient populations.
Modern Healthcare Editor-in-Chief Mary Ellen Podmolik linked the recognition program to broader workforce pressures affecting healthcare employers nationwide, particularly as organizations adopt new technologies across clinical and administrative operations.

The Best Places to Work in Healthcare program evaluates employers through workplace assessments and employee surveys conducted in partnership with Workforce Research Group.
Modern Healthcare is expected to publish the ranked list of 2026 honorees in a special October issue. GLOBO is scheduled to be recognized during the Best Places to Work in Healthcare Awards Gala on September 16 in Houston.
