NEW CASTLE, DE — FS is expanding its physical infrastructure business with an integrated portfolio for AI data centers and large enterprise networks, combining high-speed optical connectivity, structured cabling and power management as GPU deployments increase bandwidth and rack-level power requirements.
The network infrastructure provider is positioning the portfolio around two increasingly linked constraints in AI computing: moving data at higher speeds between systems and supplying power to denser equipment configurations.
For AI data centers, FS is offering 400G and 800G optical transceivers in OSFP and QSFP-DD formats, along with direct attach cables, active optical cables and MTP/MPO fiber interconnects.
The connectivity products are designed to support high-density deployments and provide a migration path as network requirements increase, according to the company.
FS is pairing the networking equipment with three-phase intelligent power distribution units, modular uninterruptible power supplies and terminal power distribution equipment. The systems support redundant power configurations and provide monitoring of energy consumption and operating conditions.
“As AI clusters rapidly expand and modern enterprise networks become increasingly distributed,” infrastructure teams need a coordinated approach to connectivity and power, FS Product R&D Manager Hans Gao said.
The portfolio also extends beyond AI data centers into enterprise buildings and campus networks, where FS is consolidating fiber and copper cabling products into a common infrastructure offering.
Its data center architecture uses FHD high-density fiber enclosures and pre-terminated trunk cabling alongside shielded Cat6a and Cat8 copper systems. The configuration is intended to allow additional network capacity to be installed as requirements change.
For campus and edge deployments, FS is offering high-fiber-count outdoor cables, indoor 10G twisted-pair cabling and Power over Ethernet cabling, extending the portfolio from network backbones to access infrastructure.
The combined offering gives FS a broader role across the physical layer as customers build networks requiring greater connection density, bandwidth and power capacity.
