Augmentir Leads Product Rankings in Manufacturing AI Report

Augmentir

HORSHAM, PA — Augmentir received the highest product score among 13 vendors in a 2026 LNS Research evaluation of connected frontline workforce software, strengthening the Horsham-based company’s competitive position as manufacturers increasingly adopt artificial intelligence to manage production tasks, employee training and operational performance.

The company was designated a Front Runner for the second consecutive evaluation in LNS Research’s Connected Frontline Workforce Applications Solution Selection Matrix.

Augmentir was the only vendor to receive a score of 5 on the research firm’s six-point Product scale, according to the company’s announcement.

The evaluation assesses vendors across three dimensions: Product, Potential and Presence. LNS Research bases its findings on vendor surveys, briefings, customer reference interviews and its assessment of industry capabilities.

The Product ranking reflects Augmentir’s integration of AI-assisted work instructions, employee competency management, operational knowledge and workforce performance analysis within a single software platform.

LNS Research identified the company’s investments in personalized work execution, dynamic skills management and real-time performance monitoring as factors supporting its position.

The research firm also characterized Augmentir as the only vendor in the evaluation classified as both a dedicated connected frontline workforce software provider and an AI-native platform.

That distinction reflects a broader competitive shift in industrial software, where manufacturers are seeking to connect employee training, production procedures and operational data rather than maintain separate applications for each function.

Augmentir’s platform combines digital work instructions, knowledge management, workforce training and AI-powered assistance for manufacturing employees.

Its Augie Industrial AI Suite allows users to develop automated workflows, generate work instructions and provide support tailored to individual workers and teams.

The suite includes Agent Studio, which enables organizations to build customized AI agents for manufacturing operations.

LNS Research identified AI agents and systems that use operational feedback to improve processes as emerging priorities in the connected workforce software market.

The report also cited Augmentir’s preconfigured industry applications and integrations with enterprise resource planning, quality management, environmental health and safety, manufacturing execution, maintenance and human capital management systems.

Those integrations are designed to connect frontline activities with existing industrial and enterprise software.

Augmentir describes its platform as compliant with SOC 2 and the electronic records requirements of 21 CFR Part 11, considerations for manufacturers operating in regulated environments.

“Manufacturers don’t need another point solution for instructions, another for training, and another for AI,” Augmentir Chief Executive Officer Russ Fadel said. “They need one AI-native platform where knowledge, work execution, skills, and AI agents live together and learn from each other.”

Since the LNS Research evaluation was completed, Augmentir has introduced Augie Command Center, extending its platform’s natural-language capabilities.

The new interface allows manufacturing teams to describe operational requirements in ordinary language and use AI tools to create workflows, procedures, dashboards and training materials.

Through the Command Center, users can develop and deploy AI agents using Agent Studio and generate content through dedicated Procedure, Dashboard and Skills Studios.

The resulting applications and materials can be deployed directly within the platform used by frontline employees.

The expansion moves Augmentir beyond providing AI-assisted instructions toward allowing manufacturers to configure and automate additional workforce processes through natural-language commands.

The LNS Research recognition evaluates the company’s software capabilities and market position, rather than establishing measured financial or productivity gains for individual manufacturers.

For Augmentir, the ranking and subsequent product expansion reinforce its strategy of consolidating industrial workforce management and AI automation within a unified platform.
