PHILADELPHIA, PA — Five Below Inc. (NASDAQ: FIVE) will open its 2,000th store July 17 in LaGrange, Georgia, marking another step in the discount retailer’s plan to expand its footprint across the United States.
The store, located at 299 Commerce Avenue, will open at 9:30 a.m. with giveaways, games, prizes and music.
The company announced that the first 200 customers will receive a limited-edition Neon Squishy Dumpling collectible.
Chief Executive Officer Winnie Park says Five Below sees capacity for “thousands of new stores” as the company expands its retail network.
Five Below sells toys, snacks, beauty products, apparel, electronics, home décor and other merchandise. Most products are priced between $1 and $5, with some items sold above that range.
The Philadelphia-based retailer also works with Boys & Girls Clubs in the Atlanta metropolitan area to renovate spaces used by children.
