PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Fishtown Kensington Business Improvement District invites Philadelphians to a new neighborhood tradition, Stouts & Snouts, on Saturday, March 15, 2025. From 11 a.m. until close, more than 20 bars and restaurants in Fishtown will showcase their best craft stouts, pork-inspired dishes, and creative cocktails, offering a flavorful way to celebrate the community’s vibrant culinary scene.
Participating venues, including Johnny Brenda’s, Evil Genius Beer Company, Fette Sau, and Garage Fishtown, will offer one-day-only specials ranging from dark, roasty beers and inventive Irish whiskey drinks to savory pork dishes and plant-based alternatives. With a nod to Saint Patrick’s Day, the event promises a day of hearty indulgence and community spirit.
“The Fishtown District is thrilled to bring this destination, food-pairing happening to our thriving commercial corridor,” said Marc Collazzo, Executive Director of the Fishtown Kensington Area Business Improvement District. “It’s a great way to spend a day sampling delicious food and drink pairings at our unique eateries and taverns. The menu boasts standout items like Guinness on draft paired with roast pork sandwiches at Johnny Brenda’s, bacon broiled oysters with Irish butter at The International Bar, and smoked corned beef plates at Fette Sau. Vegan and vegetarian options will also be available to ensure a welcoming experience for all.
