PHILADELPHIA, PA — Craft beer lovers will once again have a reason to head to Fishtown this summer as the Second Annual Fishtown Beer Festival returns with dozens of breweries, nearly 40 beer selections, live music, and a neighborhood-wide celebration under the El.
After a sold-out debut last year, Evil Genius Beer Company and Fishtown District are expanding the festival for 2026, transforming the 1700 block of Front Street into a four-hour outdoor beer showcase on Saturday, June 20. More than 20 breweries from across the Philadelphia region are expected to participate, each pouring two selections ranging from fan favorites to limited-release creations and hard-to-find specialty brews.
The festival celebrates one of the city’s most vibrant craft beer communities while giving attendees an opportunity to sample a wide variety of local offerings in a single afternoon.
“This festival is our love letter to Philly’s brewing scene and the neighborhood that helped make us who we are today,” said Trevor Hayward, co-founder of Evil Genius. “Fishtown has become one of the top beer destinations in the country, and after seeing the community response last year, we knew we had to go even bigger.”
Beer fans can look forward to pours from regional favorites including Tired Hands, Yards, Love City, Philadelphia Brewing Company, Punch Buggy Brewing Co., Cartesian Brewing, Space Cadet Brewing Co., Urban Village Brewing Co., Wissahickon Brewing Company, Source Brewing, Attic Brewing Co., and 21st Amendment Brewing Co., among others.
Beyond the beer, the festival will feature live music from a DJ, outdoor food vendors, and festival-style fare prepared by the Evil Genius kitchen. Organizers say the combination of local brews, street food, and neighborhood energy is designed to create a quintessential Philadelphia summer experience.
Several breweries have already previewed beers they plan to bring, including hazy IPAs, fruit-forward ales, pilsners, lagers, sours, hard seltzers, and collaborative brews created specifically for the event.
The festival is open only to guests 21 and older. General admission tickets include unlimited beer sampling and a commemorative tasting glass, while designated driver tickets are available for non-drinking attendees.
