READING, PA — EnerSys (NYSE: ENS), a global provider of stored energy solutions for industrial applications, recently promoted Mark Matthews to the role of President, Specialty Global. Matthews, who has been with EnerSys since 2016 and most recently served as Senior Vice President, Specialty Global, brings to the table nearly three decades of experience in lithium battery development, a critical area of focus as the world pivots towards greater electrification.

During his tenure at EnerSys, Matthews has distinguished himself as an instrumental figure in driving the company’s growth initiatives across key markets such as transportation, aerospace, and defense.
