Deerfield Group Names Bill Veltre Chief Media Officer

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Deerfield Group announced it recently promoted Bill Veltre to chief media officer, a newly created role aimed at expanding the agency’s media capabilities and integrating data and artificial intelligence into its services.

Veltre previously served as executive vice president and head of media, where he led the development of the agency’s media practice within the healthcare and life sciences sectors.

The company said the role reflects its focus on making media a core part of its integrated marketing and communications model.

Veltre has experience leading teams at pharmaceutical companies and network agencies, and has overseen the buildout of Deerfield’s media operations, including campaign management processes and data-driven planning.

As chief media officer, he will oversee the expansion of media services, integration across business units, and the use of data analytics and artificial intelligence to support campaign execution and performance.

“Clients require a partner that doesn’t just offer media as an add-on, but as a deeply integrated part of a total brand solution,” CEO Frank Burrell said.

Veltre said the agency plans to expand its use of analytics and automation to improve targeting and responsiveness in healthcare marketing.
