CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Boomi has been identified as a Pioneer in Gartner’s inaugural Emerging Market Quadrant for No-Code Agent Builders, positioning the company within a growing segment of the enterprise software market focused on deploying artificial intelligence agents without traditional software development.
The recognition comes as technology vendors race to establish positions in the emerging market for agentic AI platforms, which are designed to automate business processes and decision-making across enterprise systems.
Gartner defines no-code agent builders as software-as-a-service products that provide integrated environments for building, deploying and managing AI-powered agents without requiring users to write code.
The analyst firm’s assessment places Boomi among vendors that have established positions in enterprise integration and automation and are now extending those capabilities into AI-driven workflows and agent orchestration.
The designation reflects a broader shift among enterprise software providers as companies seek to integrate AI agents into existing business systems rather than deploy standalone artificial intelligence tools.
Boomi’s platform includes agentic workflow capabilities, support for Model Context Protocol-enabled tools and low-code development features intended to allow both technical and nontechnical users to create AI agents.
Steve Lucas, chairman and chief executive officer of Boomi, characterized the recognition as evidence of increasing enterprise adoption of AI agents, stating that customers are already deploying the technology and generating measurable business results.
The company cited customer implementations as examples of how organizations are using AI agents to support operations across finance, supply chain management, human resources, sales and information technology.
At construction equipment manufacturer Multiquip, Senior Vice President of IT Michael Hanken indicated the company’s AI deployment has focused on reducing inaccurate responses in product-related inquiries.
“With Boomi, our hallucination rate is less than half a percent across 200,000 SKUs and 700-plus pieces of equipment,” Hanken stated.
Legal services provider Lexitas has used Boomi’s platform to consolidate customer data from approximately 40 acquisitions, creating a foundation for broader AI deployment, according to Joe Giannetti, the company’s chief information officer and chief information security officer.
“Boomi helped us bring all of that together, and now that foundation accelerates AI adoption for us,” Giannetti stated.
The Gartner recognition adds to a growing number of analyst evaluations focused on agentic AI, a market that has attracted significant investment from software companies seeking to capitalize on enterprise demand for automation and artificial intelligence technologies.
