HORSHAM, PA — Augmentir is extending natural-language control across its connected-worker platform with two new industrial AI interfaces that allow manufacturers to build workflows, deploy AI agents, and convert operating procedures into digital instructions without conventional software configuration or coding.
The Horsham-based company introduced Augie Command Center and Augie Procedure Studio, expanding its Augie technology from operational analysis into the creation and deployment of frontline manufacturing tools.
Command Center allows plant personnel to describe an operational task in natural language and have the system configure workflows, dashboards, work assignments, training programs and other functions across Augmentir’s platform.
Users can also create conversational AI agents that answer worker questions and autonomous agents that monitor operating conditions and take actions. The system can analyze performance across production lines, shifts and sites and generate charts, operational insights and recommended actions.
“The people running factories are experts in their operations — they shouldn’t have to become experts in software,” Augmentir Chief Executive Officer and co-founder Russ Fadel stated. “Operational experts describe what they want, and Augie orchestrates the platform to build, deploy, and continuously improve the solution.”
Augmentir is positioning the technology around manufacturing-specific operational context rather than a standalone general-purpose AI model. Augie combines work-execution information, including procedures, assets and historical performance, with employee skills, certifications, proficiency and experience.
The system can also incorporate information from enterprise resource planning, manufacturing execution, computerized maintenance management, quality management and learning management systems.
Procedure Studio applies the natural-language interface to work instructions. Manufacturers can provide an existing standard operating procedure or describe a process in a sentence, after which Augie generates a digital procedure containing elements such as instructions, safety warnings, checklists, data-entry fields and confirmation signatures.
Users can modify those procedures conversationally by requesting changes to steps, warnings or fields rather than navigating configuration menus.
The platform can bulk-convert existing PDF, Word and spreadsheet libraries into digital work instructions. A SharePoint synchronization capability is designed to update procedures when underlying source documents change.
Augmentir indicated that manufacturers using the tools have reduced some procedure-authoring, workflow-building and AI-agent deployment tasks from days or weeks to minutes.
The company is pairing that automation with controls over what AI agents can execute independently. Customers can establish approval gates and role-based permissions, preview changes before publication and require human authorization for designated actions.
Actions are also recorded through audit trails, with version histories and rollback capabilities intended to provide oversight when AI-generated changes are deployed into frontline operations.
